A few years ago I became aware of a new pizza place in Brighton, Purezza, that was entirely vegan. I went there and tried the pizza. It was delicious so I vowed to return. It became one of my go to places to eat out in Brighton.
After a while, they opened in Camden and that also became one of the go to places when I was there for gigs. At some point they expanded into larger premises there. They have also opened other branches around the country, in Hove, Bristol and Manchester.
After lockdown I went to the Brighton restaurant once on my birthday and to the Camden one twice over the Restart the Heart weekend and two other times in November 2021. Since then, I have visited both the Brighton restaurant and the one in Camden several times.
I have tried several of the pizzas and have had the calzone once. Several times I have had the chocolate fudge brownie for dessert. I have also drunk some of the beer on offer there. Everything was good quality and tasty.
